Daniel Warren Johnson Leaving Transformers With Issue #24
“My choice to leave at 24 is more of a choice for my mental health and for my family than however I may feel about my wonderful Cybertronians.”
Daniel Warren Johnson is an American comic book writer and artist based in Chicago. He got his start with Skybound and Image Comics’ Extremity, before branching out into the critically acclaimed Murder Falcon. From there, he created the critically acclaimed Beta-Ray Bill at Marvel, and the critically acclaimed Wonder Woman: Dead Earth at DC Comics. Back at Image, he then released Do A Powerbomb! which was also, you guessed it, critically acclaimed. He’s the writer/artist on Transformers, also from Skybound/Image Comics, which is part of the Energon Universe line of books. And he frequently posts drawing demos on YouTube and other social media platforms.
