This week’s episode of FX’s Legion, “Chapter 14,” will introduce viewers to a series of alternate universe David Hallers (Dan Stevens). We’ve already broken down a bunch of them here; and in advance of tonight’s episode, we’ve got a closer look at three of them.
Call it Davids of Future Past, if you will.
We don’t know the context of why we’re seeing all of these Davids, but we do know what led up to this: the death of David’s sister, Amy Haller (Katie Aselton). Last episode, we found out that Amahl Farouk (Navid Negahban) had used Oliver Bird’s (Jemaine Clement) powers to hollow Amy’s mind out of her body, and transform her into Lenny Busker (Aubrey Plaza).
We were left with David swearing to kill Farouk… And now this. In the promo for the episode, we saw glimpses of Amy alive, though it looks like that’s in other realities. So is David searching for her through the multiverse? Or something else?
Anyway, here’s a few Davids:
Worker Bee David
Probably works at a gas station? Maybe he makes waffles?
Homeless David
Things have clearly not turned out well for David in this reality.
Matrix David
Okay, maybe he’s not in The Matrix, but this definitely seems like the David who will soon learn Kung-Fu.
