Riverdale is a town full of mysteries. Does Fangs die in Riverdale? Is Hal the Black Hood? And of course, does Lili Reinhart have a twin?
Okay, so the last one might be a real world mystery, rather than an actual Riverdale mystery. But it’s still a question that’s had fans scratching their heads for the past year or so. Luckily, though we may have to wait until “Chapter Thirty-Four: Judgement Night” to find out the answers to the other two questions, we’ve got your answer to the Lili Reinhart twin question, right here!
But first, a little background.
Cole Sprouse likes to troll
Way back in the old days of 2017, Cole Sprouse, who plays Jughead on Riverdale, posted a mysterious image on Instagram. The image showed a young Sprouse — who is a twin himself — with a fan, tagged with “@lilireinhart???”
The actress, who plays Betty Cooper on the show and is dating Sprouse in real life laughed it off. Yes, the kid looked like her… But it wasn’t. It was actually a Sprouse fan named Anna-Laura, who met them back in the day.
Still, even with the denial, the “does Lili Reinhart have a twin” conspiracy theory started to build steam.
Lili Reinhart does have non-twin sisters
Complicating matters, Reinhart does have two sisters — but neither of those sisters are her twin. They just look a lot like her, because that’s how genetics work.
Lili Reinhart was born on September 13, 1996 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Her older sister, Chloe Reinhart, was born on December 8, 1993, also in Cleveland.
And their younger sister Tess Reinhart was born on March 28, 2003 in… You guessed it… Cleveland.
Unless their mom had a bizarre delayed gestational period, none of them are twins.
So, does Lili Reinhart have a twin?
It would be a real world twist worthy of Riverdale itself, but nope, Reinhart doesn’t have a twin. Even if you see pics of them “together” online, those are photoshopped fakes. Now, about what’s up with Chic Cooper…
