Would You Choose ‘Legion’s Crystal Ball, Or Metal Bell?
On the next episode of FX’s Legion, David Haller (Dan Stevens) has a choice: do you use the crystal ball,…
FX’s Legion is the story of David Haller (Dan Stevens), a man who may be the most powerful mutant alive. He’s also possibly schizophrenic. Along with a team of fellow mutants, he learned he was possessed by Amahl Farouk (Navid Negahban) a parasitic mutant with dreams of world domination.
In Season 1, David and his friends were able to separate Farouk from his body… But they lost David’s best friend Lenny (Aubrey Plaza) and another powerful mutant, Oliver Bird (Jemaine Clement) in the process.
In Season 2, Farouk is back and looking for his body. If he finds it, he’ll be able to take over the world. So why is David helping him?
The show also stars Rachel Keller as David’s true love Sydney “Syd” Barrett; Bill Irwin and Amber Midthunder as Cary and Kerry, two mutants who share the same body; Jeremie Harris as Ptonomy Wallace, a man with the power to enter other people’s memories; Jean Smart as Melanie Bird, Oliver’s long suffering wife and the former leader of the team; and Hamish Linklater as Clark Debussy, a former antagonist and now ally of David’s.
Every week, Comic Book Club hosts Inside Legion, a Legion podcast recapping episodes of the show. You can also browse the site for news on everything from the identity of the Mi-Go Monks, to the Miser Sunday, to fan theories about characters like Admiral Fukuyama.
The podcast is hosted by Justin Tyler, Pete LePage and Alex Zalben of the long running Comic Book Club podcast. Tune in every week for commentary, analysis, and more!
