New Comics This Week: Full Comics List For December 20, 2023

New comics: how we doing? You good? You doing well? Need something to eat? Well eat this: there are a ton of new comic books coming out this week, and we’ve got your full list below.

Marvel is kicking if off with Star Wars Revelations #1, not to be confused with last year’s Star Wars Revelations #1. The issue tells a few short tales from the galaxy far, far away that tee up the next year of stories. Also intriguing? Original X-Men #1, which brings back the OG five, who traveled forward in time, went back in time, and had their memories wiped — and now have them back again. How will those crazy kids get out of this one?

Over at DC Comics, Wonder Woman #4 looks like it won’t leave a dry eye in the house as Diana takes a break from fighting the entire US government to visit a sick kid in a hospital. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Jason Aaron and Doug Mahnke’s Batman: Off-World continues as Bruce kicks alien butt in space.

Tom King isn’t just on Wonder Woman, though. He also is launching Animal Pound, a take on Animal Farm, over at BOOM! Studios. That publisher also has new issues of Rare Flavours and Lotus Land, two intriguing fantasy and sci-fi books, respectively. And Image Comics has a new issue of James Tynion IV’s disturbing The Deviant, as well as Shift, a one-shot focusing on the Massive-verse’s big bad guy. Or is he??
