Gen V Is Over, But You Can Still Watch Lizze Broadway On Henry Danger

Bad news, everyone: Gen V Season 1 is over. And as of right now, there’s a good chance Gen V Season 2 won’t hit your screens for a good long while. But if you still need your fix, we’ve got a little something to tide you over… Particularly if you’re a fan of Emma (Lizze Broadway). That’s because before she was Little Cricket, Lizze Broadway was mixing it up with superheroes on Nickelodeon’s Henry Danger.

To be clear, Henry Danger is like the tonal opposite of Gen V. It’s a three-camera superhero sitcom aimed squarely at Nickelodeon audiences. So, no nihilistic worldview satire. No puppet sex scenes. And definitely, no Little Cricket riding on an erect penis, a la the Gen V series premiere. Instead, Lizze Broadway guest-starred on one episode of Henry Danger as Heather Bogart, a jewel thief.

In the episode, Season 4, Episode 10, titled “Diamonds Are For Heather,” Broadway plays the main antagonist for the two superheroes on the show: Kid Danger and Captain Man. She’s just been released from Galcatraz and bumps into the two non-Compound V-infused Supes at the Museum of Jewels and Stools. She’s traveled there to steal a massive rock called the Neal Diamond, and after flirting with Kid Danger for a bit informs him as much.

Ultimately she uses a “Hyper Gamma Light” to blind everyone in the museum, including Kid Danger and Captain Man. While she goes through the multi-step process of stealing the diamond, which is about the size of a soccer ball, Kid Danger and Captain Man stumble around the museum fighting goons, and breaking all the jewels and stools. Naturally, they use it on her, too, and they all trip around the museum after each other, before Heather is eventually captured and dragged back to jail.

Watch Lizze Broadway on Henry Danger:

Look, I’m not going to say that if you love Emma, you’ll love this too. Having watched the episode, I can confidently say it is very dumb. But Broadway is also probably the funniest thing in the half-hour. And while she doesn’t get to show off the purposefully low-key delivery that makes Emma such a great character on Gen V, it is Lizze Broadway being funny plus superheroes. With the long wait between seasons, you’re gonna need something to tide you over. Maybe watch Henry Danger (it’s currently streaming on Netflix), then go back and check out Gen V again. Rinse, repeat.

The even better news is you don’t even need Netflix to watch Lizze Broadway on Henry Danger… Nickelodeon has a full five-plus minutes of antics up on YouTube to watch for free:
