Hello. My name is Michael Rex and I am a bestselling children’s book author and illustrator. I have recently published the first two volumes of my new graphic novel series for elementary school readers. “Fangbone! Third Grade Barbarian” and “Fangbone! The Egg of Misery” (Putnam, 2012) tell the story of a young barbarian boy from another land who gets stuck in our world and has to learn about school, indoor plumbing, and hot-wings. While the books are for young readers, older readers have been finding them very funny, and the first volume was reviewed very positively at Ain’t It Cool. I would love to provide some copies as freebies to handout at your show. Keep up the great work!
Hey Michael! Thanks for writing, and if you want to drop off some books at the show, we’d be happy to give them out to the audience! Just FYI, not sure how much we can plug on the Podcast/Video for rights reasons, but we can definitely give ’em away to the live crowd, just let us know.
Hi. I’d love to bring by a pile of books for the audience. I’d like to shoot for the 5/15 show. Please contact me with any details.
Long live Fangbone!
