‘Krypton’: Seg’s Sitch Goes From Bad To Worse In This “House Of Zod” Sneak Peek

Sonita Henry as Raika, Cameron Cuffe as Seg-El

When last we left Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe) on SYFY’s Krypton, he was bleeding profusely and outside in the snowy wastes beyond Kandor’s dome. Don’t worry, though, things are going to get way worse for him when the show comes back for “The House of Zod.”

In an extended sneak peek at the episode, Seg starts still outside, pursued by the Black Zero operative (Colin Salmon) who tortured him on “The Word of Rao.” He manages to sneak back inside, and even finds a prisoner who offers to take him far away to safety. But is any place really safe on Krypton?

The answer, in case you’re wondering, is no, there is no place safe on Krypton. Like Game of Thrones before it, this show takes pleasure in making things worse for its heroes, every time out of the gate.

Hey, at least he isn’t naked, right?

Here’s the official description of the series from SYFY:

Set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet, Krypton follows Superman’s grandfather (Cameron Cuffe, The Halcyon) — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos. Based on DC characters, Krypton is executive produced by David S. Goyer (Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Dark Knight trilogy). Cameron Welsh (Ash vs Evil Dead) will serve as executive producer and showrunner.
