It’s relatively lighter for new comics this week for May 21 and 22, 2024. But don’t worry, there’s plenty of new product! The content is flowing! Algorithms!
Anyway, Marvel celebrates 50 issues of Amazing Spider-Man, and it’s kind of wild that the character has only published 50 issues in all this time, but I guess that must be true? Blood Hunt continues with its second issue, and spills over into more spinoffs. Plus, if you’re missing X-Men ’97, that comic is still coming out.
Over at DC, Superman battles Lobo (again) in the latest issue of his title. But the big one is Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, which wraps up the titanic clash of titans. Oh, and Alan Scott: Green Lantern, one of the best books on the stands, wraps up its run, as well.
Archie Comics kicks off their new premium imprint with Archie Comics: Judgement Day. Image launches yet another “back in the ’90s I was on a very famous TV show” style book with Blood Squad Seven. And meanwhile, the Eisner-nominated Local Man launches a new issue, as well.
