After months of teasing various titles ranging from Agatha: Darkhold Diaries to Agatha: The Lying Witch With Great Wardrobe, we now know the actual title of the series. It was Agatha All Along. And not only that, we know when the show will premiere on Disney+.
Specifically, it’ll drop a little earlier than expected: Wednesday, September 18, 2024, with a two-episode premiere. New episodes will drop every week thereafter. It will also be the first series under a new — but sort of old — banner: Marvel Television. This is in addition to Marvel Animation (which is how X-Men ’97 is running) and Marvel Spotlight (Echo‘s designation).
Naturally, this title is a riff on the song from Episode 7 of WandaVision, which Agatha All Along is a direct spinoff from. The show picks up with Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) still trapped in Westview, and thinking she’s a regular housewife. Given the titles have run the gamut, including Agatha: Coven of Chaos and the ones mentioned above, it’s entirely possible those are episode titles, and Agatha is messing with genres — just like WandaVision did before it.
With nine episodes, the season (series?) finale should air on November 6, 2024. The series also stars Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke, Patti LuPone, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Debra Jo Rupp and more.
