The new comics are back this week, and better than ever! And if you’re looking for what to read, you’ve certainly come to the right place, my friend. We’re friends, right? Yes. Cool.
Marvel is publishing a slew of books, including the second to last issue of G.O.D.S. — for the moment. You’ve also got a new issue of Ultimate Spider-Man, continuing on the Jonathan Hickman train. And there are two Wolverine books, if you like that sort of thing.
DC Comics has a lighter week but the highlight as usual is Batman. Dark Age from Mark Russell and Mike Allred continues. There’s a new issue of The Penguin. And there’s Brave and the Bold and Detective Comics, too. Dark Knight? More like Busy Knight!
From other publishers, BOOM! has new issues of Once Upon a Time at the End of the World and Something is Killing the Children, so that’s big for me, personally. Dark Horse has a new issue of the kaiju series Dawnrunner. But the big one is IDW’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #150, which wraps up the current series.
