New Comics This Week: Full Comics List For March 13, 2024

This weekend may be the Oscars, but the best picture I’ve ever seen is in a comic book, am I right? I am not? No? Okay, let’s talk about the new comics this week for March 13, 2024, and March 12, 2024.

Marvel Comics has some fun ones this week. There’s Black Widow & Hawkeye #1, which celebrates the 60th anniversary of both characters, and honestly they don’t look a day over 59, try the veal. Ghost Rider: Final Vengeance puts a baddie in the hot seat, which is a neat twist. And Ultimate Black Panther #2 continues the blockbuster new Ultimate Universe.

Over at DC Comics, there are a few bit releases. Suicide Squad: Dream Team gives writer Nicole Maines, and the character Dreamer, the biggest spotlight in the mainstream DCU yet. Fables #162 is the final issue of the series, possibly ever given all the behind-the-scenes drama on the book. And I do not know what Batman/Dylan Dog is, but if there isn’t a talking dog solving mysteries, I am giving up on comics forever. Jk, I love you comics, never leave me.

But the biggest new release of the week is from Dark Horse Comics: Helen of Wyndhorn #1, which reunites Tom King and Bilquis Evely on a story that’s being pitched as Conan meets Chronicles of Narnia. That said, don’t miss I Heart Skull-Crusher #1 from BOOM! Studios, which is a blast and a half. And from Image Comics you’ve got Napalm Lullaby #1 from Rick Remender and Bengal, which we dug in our advance review. And there’s also Transformers #6, aka the final issue with Daniel Warren Johnson on art.
