It’s a new day in Marvel‘s Ultimate Universe with the debut of Ultimate Universe #1. And while the miniseries Ultimate Invasion showed us some of the players in this new world, a first-look preview inside the issue shows off a biggie: Thor.
Written by Jonathan Hickman, with art by Stefano Caselli, the idea of this one-shot is to set the stage for a number of upcoming titles. Those include Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate Black Panther, Ultimate X-Men, and presumably more to come. How will this pan out, and be different from the previous iteration of the Ultimate U?
