The Boys is a superhero parody comic written by Garth Ennis, with art by Darick Robertson. Originally published by DC Comics, the title moved to Dynamite, where it finished its run. The book is set in a world where superheroes are powered by a substance called Compound V. It gives them fantastic powers and also turns them into deviant jerks.
Enter Hughie, Butcher, and the rest of The Boys: an organization devoted to shutting down and exposing superheroes for what they really are.
The comic book series has been adapted into a hit TV show on Prime Video. That has spun off into the animated series Diabolical, and the live-action series Gen V.
