Guardians of the Galaxy is a comic book franchise from Marvel. It was created in 1969 by Stan Lee, Roy Thomas, and Arnold Drake. Though the team has had many iterations, thanks to the MCU films the most famous team is: Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord; Gamora; Drax; Rocket Raccoon; and Groot.
The trilogy of movies, as well as the Disney+ special, have grossed millions of dollars in theaters. They’ve also influenced the Marvel Comics from whence they came. The short version? They’re a team of space-faring superheroes who do a little good, do a little bad, and maybe a bit of both.
Here on Comic Book Club’s page, you can read reviews of the comic books. You can also listen to reviews of the movies, and Disney+ special. And you can check out interviews with the writers, artists, and editors who make the comic books possible.
