Sweet Tooth Season 3 is almost here! Based on the Vertigo comic by Jeff Lemire, the final season of the Netflix series is arriving very soon. But, and this is a crucial question given the headline of the piece, when does Sweet Tooth Season 3 come out?
Great question. It’s Thursday, June 6, 2024 on Netflix. I’m not gonna spend 300 words here to slowly eke out the info I know you want. All eight episodes of the third season arrive then, and it is indeed the final season of the series. Once that eighth episode hits, it’s all over, baby.
That said, let’s break down a few more items of info about Season 3, like who is in the cast, what to remember before the season begins, and more.
When Did Season 2 Of Sweet Tooth Come Out?
It’s been over a year since the second season of the series came out. The first season hit on June 4, 2021, with eight episodes. Another eight episodes, aka Season 2, premiered April 27, 2023 on Netflix. And now the third and final season will premiere on June 6, 2024.
What Happened In Sweet Tooth Season 2? What To Know Before Season 3:
A whole lot happened! But the biggest thing to remember is that Gus (Christian Convery), Jepp (Nonso Anozie), and Aimee (Dania Ramirez) managed to beat General Abbott (Neil Sandilands) at Pubba’s (Will Forte) cabin, and stop the threat of the Last Men. At the same time, Gus has been having visions of his mother, Birdie (Amy Seimetz) and a mysterious cave. So along with Becky (Stefania LaVie Owen), and Wendy (Naledi Murray), they’re headed to Alaska to find her.
Meanwhile, Dr. Singh (Adeel Akhtar) let his wife die of the Sick — the virus that has killed most of humanity, and created the hybrid children being born all over the planet — but he’ll be back, for mysterious reasons.
Last but not least, we met Helen Zhang (Rosalind Chao), a Last Men affiliate who runs a merciless ranch out of Texas, and is in possession of some terrifying Wolf Boys.
Who Is In The Sweet Tooth Season 3 Cast?
Everybody mentioned above returns (except for Will Forte, whose Pubba died in Season 1). Kelly Marie Tran joins as Rosie, Zhang’s daughter and lieutenant. And in an Outpost in Alaska, we’ll meet Siana (Cara Gee), as well as her daughter Nuka (Ayazhan Dalabayeva), a hybrid.
What Time Will Season 3 Of Sweet Tooth Come Out On Netflix?
Netflix shows premiere — for the most part — at 3 am ET / Midnight PT. Sometimes it takes a minute or two for the cache to update, but if you’re craving that sweet, sweet Sweet Tooth then it should all be up and available after 3 am ET on June 6. And yes, this is a Thursday release; not Friday, per Netflix’s regular M.O. (though they’ve been changing that up quite a bit as of late).
What Are The Sweet Tooth Season 3 Titles? Sweet Tooth Season 3 Episode Guide:

Is Sweet Tooth Canceled?
Not exactly? Sweet Tooth Season 3 will finish off the story as it was meant to be told. In fact, by the time Netflix announced it had been “picked up” for a third and final season, it turned out that Season 3 had already been filmed. So show creator Jim Mickle finished off the series the way he meant to, completing the tale told by Jeff Lemire in the comics.
That’s a long way of saying that yes, Sweet Tooth Season 3 is the final season of the series; but hopefully, you’ll get a complete, three-season, 24-episode story… Not the abruptly cut short one cancellation implies.
