Tessa Hulls Bio:

Tessa Hulls is an artist, a writer, and an adventurer. Her essays have appeared in The Washington Post, Atlas Obscura, and Adventure Journal, and her comics have been published in The Rumpus, City Arts, and SPARK. She has received grants from the Seattle Office of Arts and Culture and 4Culture, and she is a fellowship recipient from the Washington Artist Trust. Feeding Ghosts is her first book.

Alex Schumacher Bio:

ALEX SCHUMACHER is an author/illustrator from the Bay Area of California whose career commenced with The Unemployment Adventures of Aqualung, published in 2013 by Arcana Studios. Alex then introduced the weekly webcomic Decades of (in)Experience in 2015 and the monthly online misadventures of Mr. Butterchips in 2016. A collection of the latter was released in July, 2020 by SLG Publishing, and the indie comics luminaries began hosting a “reboot” of the webcomic on May 5th, 2021. Since 2018, Alex has also written articles and essays for industry outlets such as Comicon.comThe Comic Book Yeti, and Monkeys Fighting Robots Magazine.

His debut middle grade graphic novel, The Effects of Pickled Herring is set to be released by Mango Publishing on March 12, 2024.
