Hey guys, don’t be so quick to make fun of the space elevator… it’s actually a real thing that scientists have been theorizing about. The concept of a tether connecting a planet to a space station or moon would save loads of energy for frequent trips back and forth because you wouldn’t have to use rocket propulsion every time (basically controlled explosions) and would also be a lot safer. Here’s some info if you’re interested: https://www.houstonchronicle.com/local/space/mission-moon/article/Going-up-Futuristic-space-elevator-could-make-13766803.php
Hey Sue! This is great info, and thank you… We got it too late for taping this week’s episode, but would love to bring it up for next week, if that’s okay!
