The CW started life as a network cobbled together from the pieces of The WB and UPN. Since then, it’s gone on to launch innumerable series over the decades. Those include Riverdale, which is based on the Archie Comics characters. Comic Book Club covered the entire length of the series with the Riverdale After Dark podcast, which you can listen to on the platform of your choice.
Other hit shows on The CW include Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, and many more… Most of them, but not all, focused on the teen experience.
