Dan Slott is an American comic book writer known for his work for Marvel. In particular, his multiple, long runs on Spider-Man, as well as She-Hulk, Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer , and many more. Slott started writing kids and humor comics including Ren & Stimpy and Mighty Mouse for Marvel. For DC Comics, he wrote Scooby-Doo, Powerpuff Girls, and Looney Tunes. His run on She-Hulk was used in part as inspiration for the Disney+ series, and he invented the Spider-Verse for his Spider-Man run, which helped inspire Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, and Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. He’s also a huge Doctor Who fan.
