DC K.O. Boss Battle Brings On Multiverse All-Stars:
Back at New York Comic Con, DC Comics shocked the audience at the Jim Lee & Friends panel with the reveal that Homelander, Annabelle, and more would be joining DC K.O. And now we know how and when: in this February’s DC K.O.: BOSS BATTLE #1.
Written by Jeremy Adams, with art by Carmine Di Giandomenico, Ronan Cliquet and more, the one-shot will find the contenders in the titular tournament looking to gain extra Omega Energy in order to become King Omega and battle Darkseid. Enter the aforementioned characters, alongside Sub-Zero, Vampirella, Red Sonja, and Sam Strong, the serial killer bear from Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees. Seriously.
The 40-page special includes a man cover by Jamal Campbell, alongside variants by Darick Robertson, Patrick Horvath and Frank Cho, and a wraparound cover by Jeff Spokes.
DC K.O.: BOSS BATTLE #1 is on sale February 4, 2026.
Image Comics Offers Holiday Blind Bags:
Image Comics is stuffing their stockings with Blind Bags this holiday season, the latest publisher to get in on the mysterious action.
Teaming up with GONKBONK, a platform that specializes in Blind Bags and boxes, the publisher will include one rare variant in 2025 Image Comics Holiday Blind Bags. While the variants can be 1:25, they can also go as high as 1:100, and include titles ranging from Artificial to Youngblood, and even include copies of Blind Bag pioneer Invincible Universe: Battle Beast.
The Blind Bags will hit comic book stores on December 24 for a late stocking stuffer, cost $20 each, and just a note: there are a lot of extremely adult comics on the list, before you start handing them out to kids and get arrested, like that one lady in North Carolina on Halloween.
Taurin Clarke Covers Star Wars For Black History Month:
Taurin Clarke will provide two, interconnected covers for Marvel’s Star Wars titles, forming one big picture for Black History Month.
In the lineup, Clarke has drawn: Lando Calrissian, Mace Windu, Saw Gerrera, Finn, Jannah, Moff Gideon, Greef Karga, and more. The covers will roll out on Star Wars #10 and Star Wars: Jar Jar #1, which will be co-written by none other than Ahmed Best.
Said Clarke, “There’s something inherently cool knowing that somewhere, this book might be someone’s first introduction to Star Wars. Maybe seeing characters that look like them (drawn by an artist who looks like them) might even inspire some other kid to be creative. That kind of representation means a lot to me.”
Star Wars: Jar Jar #1 will hit stores on February 11, with Star Wars #10 hitting the next week on February 18, 2026.
