Comic Book Club’s 2025 Fantastic Four Team Draft

With Fantastic Four: First Steps now in theaters, we’re taking on the weird task of doing a team draft for Marvel’s First Family. Weird because the team is associated closest with Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing… So when you open it up to an all-time roster, who do our hosts pick? Plus, we discuss what villain our eventual team would fight first — and our general philosophy on the team.

Rules of the Fantastic Four Draft (2025):

• Eventual teams include four (4) Fantastic Four members.
• Choices can come from any era and do not need to be from or in current continuity.
• However, they do need to be listed on the Thunderbolts team members wiki page.
• You actually have to know who the character is and why you picked them.
• Draft order is randomly selected.
• Snake Draft format, taking turns drafting, where the two people on the end get back-to-back picks.
• Once a Fantastic Four member is taken off the board, you cannot select that same character.
• Similarly, no multiverse variants are allowed. And once a character is chosen, that’s it. No Reed Richards from two different Earths, for example.

Fantastic Four teams will be posted on social media and in Comic Book Club’s Discord to vote on whose team is best, with the eventual pick discussed on our live show.
