Dynamite’s massive Humble Bundle of Disney comics, which also helps support literacy charity First Book, has been extended. It will now be available until July 16.
The Bundle includes over 1,500 pages of Disney comics, including Lilo & Stitch, Darkwing Duck, Gargoyles, and more. And per PR from the publisher, it includes creators Amanda Deibert, Greg Weisman, Sweeney Boo, George Kambadais, Carlo Lauro, John Blair Moore, Elliott Kalan, Brandon Montclare, Soo Lee, Drew Moss, Greg Pak, Jeff Parker, Ciro Cangialosi, Giulia Giacomino, Roger Langridge, Chuck Brown, Alessandro Ranaldi, and many more.
The pay-as-you-want bundle also, as mentioned, benefits First Book, which “promotes and assists with literacy and educational equity. They connect with 525,000 educators in their network serving children in need.”
The other company it benefits? Dynamite. As previously reported, Diamond Comics Distributors owes Dynamite over $1 million, and the comic book publisher has noted that they will not be able to make payroll if they don’t get that money for their 30 or so employees, as well as freelancers. With news orgs (such as Comic Book Club) and creators rallying around the Humble Bundle as a way of raising funds to help Dynamite, it seems not insignificant that the Bundle will now be available until July 16, aka the same day that Dynamite’s suit against Diamond will be heard in court.
Regardless of any business needs and legal shenanigans, though, the bundle is still a killer one with some great comics. You can check out the full list of titles available, below. The entire bundle is a $116 value, but you can pay what you want.
