New comics this week are back and better than ever. Or, you know, there’s just a lot of them, either way. Regardless, we’ve got your full list for June 12, 2024 and June 11, 2024, and boy am I looking forward to when DC moves back to Wednesdays in about a month so this gets less confusing.
Over to Marvel to start, Krakoa is so over, except there are also two more titles in the era: X-Men: Heir of Apocalypse which pits a bunch of mutants in a Hunger Games-style competition; and X-Men: Blood Hunt – Jubilee, which probably delves into Jubilee’s weird vampire era. That said, the real draws this week are Scarlet Witch #1 from the always-reliable Steve Orlando, and G.O.D.S. #8, which wraps up the saga — for now.
Over at DC Comics, Elseworlds returns with a sequel to Batman: Gotham by Gaslight. And Pride continues with an Uncovered collection that collects covers. So shouldn’t it be called “Covered?” Or “Unpaged?” I dunknow, I just work here.
Archie Comics is bringing on The Wicked Trinity, a spooky new tale. BOOM! Studios launches Lawful, a new fantasy series from the great Greg Pak. Image Comics has the unique-looking Remote Space and time cop comedy Rifters. And don’t miss Oni Press’ beautiful Akogun: Brutalizer of Gods #2, where a guy named Akogun brutalizes some gods.
