The Avengers is a superhero team created for Marvel Comics in 1963 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Originally, the team consisted of Iron Man, The Hulk, Ant-Man, The Wasp, and Captain America. Since then, the team has grown to have dozens of members including Scarlet Witch, The Vision, Hawkeye, and many more. There have been hundred of comic books published about Marvel’s premiere superteam. And The Avengers movies, based on the comic books, have grossed billions of dollars worldwide as the cornerstone of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
On Comic Book Club’s page, you can read reviews of comic books and movies. You can also listen to podcast interviews with the writers, artists, and editors who make the team what it is.
