Wow, can you believe January is almost over? I can! That’s how time works! Anyway, there are new comics this week for January 21, 2026, and we’ve got a list of what’s coming to comic book stores, as well as some highlights. So since time is precious, let’s get to it.
Marvel is releasing an absolutely insane 21 comics this week. That includes the final issue of Ultimate Black Panther, as well as three new X-Men books: Inglorious X-Force #1, Psylocke: Ninja #1, and Rogue #1. The first and last are set in the current continuity, while the middle one takes place in the past and pits Psylocke against Elektra. Why did I put them in that order? Who is to say!
Meanwhile, DC releases a more reasonable seven issues including the very silly (complimentary) sounding DC K.O.: Green Lantern Galactic Slam #1 which involves a different cosmic wrestling tournament than the one currently on Earth. Plus over in Wonder Woman #29, Stephanie Williams and Jeff Spokes take over for a two issue arc.
Dark Horse Comics released Touched by a Demon #1, a book about a demon opening an advice shop on Earth. Exquisite Corpses #9 begins the beginning of the end for the serial killer battle. And Gargoyles/Darkwing Duck #1 will give you those Disney Afternoon vibes.
