Disney’s beloved The Owl House is back — not in Pog form, but as an original graphic novel sequel to the animated series titled The Long-Lived King: An Original The Owl House Graphic Novel.

Written by Dana Terrace and Mikki Crisostomo, with art by Daun Han, the new book is set after the events of the series finale, and per the title will focus on the character King. Now aware he’ll outlive the rest of the Owl House family, he uses a device to erase sad memories — but accidentally erases all of Luz’s memories. Now it’s up to King, the Collector and Eda to get Luz’s memories back, and face their deepest fears along the way.

“We’ve been looking forward to sharing this news for a long time. We’re making a graphic novel!” Terrace shared via BlueSky. “We’re so excited to tell a brand new story… This can open a path to continue the Owl House story, fill in lost gaps, and tell some meaningful stories that we couldn’t in the show. Also, Eda can say ‘damn’ now.”

Recently, Terrace launched the Glitch Studios animated series Knights of Guinevere, which was picked up to series after a successful pilot was posted to YouTube. Interestingly, it’s pretty easy to read some of the criticism Terrace has had of working with Disney in the pilot, so whatever beef she has from working on The Owl House seems to have been settled enough to get this graphic novel going.

The Long-Lived King: An Original The Owl House Graphic Novel hits stores on September 29, 2026 from Hyperion Avenue. It’ll cost $22.99, run 144 pages, and is 6″ x 9″. You can check out the cover and official synopsis below.

In an all-new adventure set in the world of Disney’s The Owl House, Luz, Eda, King, and the gang return in The Long-Lived King, an original graphic novel cowritten by series creator Dana Terrace.

Set after the events of the series finale, dive deeper into the Boiling Isles than ever before.

King has never fully considered what it means to be a Titan—until now. Burdened by the knowledge that he will outlive his beloved Owl House family, he’s still determined to enjoy every moment he can with them. Even if that means using one of the Collector’s devices to wipe away his sad memories.

But when King accidentally erases Luz’s memories, he must enlist the Collector and Eda to help him recover Luz’s memories and confront their deepest fears along the way. Packed with humor, action, and stunning black-and-white illustrations in a fresh, manga-inspired style, this graphic novel welcomes readers back to The Owl House with an unforgettable adventure.
