While we’ve just started walking the road to Armageddon here in February of 2026, Marvel is already teasing May. And by that point, at least in terms of the Chip Zdarsky written Captain America and Wolverine: Weapons of Armageddon, we’re no longer walking roads, we’re now lighting matches.
Per the publisher, things really start to heat up in May as Captain America #11 finds Cap, S.H.I.E.L.D. and Red Hulk going head to head, discovering a surprising secret about Latveria. Meanwhile, Wolverine teams up with the new Cap, David Colton, to take down a new Weapon X. And in the process, they’ll discover an Origin Box from the Ultimate Universe that will lead to a big change for the Avengers.
Seems complicated? It may be, as we don’t really have a sense of what Armageddon, the publisher’s big summer event, is really about, even while prognosticating three months into the future. So check out the solicits below, and speculate wildly.
