February 2026 is an oddly light month for Image Comics, with only a handful of titles coming out each week. But that handful is quite the handful, as there are still plenty of great books coming from the publisher.
Those include titles from the blockbuster Energon Universe from Skybound, a certain Phantom of the Opera, and many more. So let’s get into our list of the most anticipated titles of the month, presented in chronological release order.
1. D’Orc #1

Release Date: February 4, 2026
I Hate Fairyland‘s Brett Bean breaks out on his own with this title that seems like it doesn’t veer too far from that previous book: it’s a bloody fantasy comedy about a half dwarf-half orc caught in the middle of a doomsday prophecy.
2. Transformers #29

Release Date: February 11, 2026
In this issue, the Autobots take on the Decepticons, to shake things up for a change! I mean, I don’t know, what do you want?
3. G.I. Joe #19

Release Date: February 11, 2026
In this issue, the Joes take on the Autobots, to shake things up for a change… Oh wait, that actually does shake things up.
4. The Thing on the Doorstep #1

Release Date: February 11, 2026
From Simon Birks and Willi Roberts, this is an adaptation of the H.P. Lovecraft story — so should be a maddening good time.
5. Exquisite Corpses #10

Release Date: February 18, 2026
One of the biggest hits of the past year, this issue brings back Jordie Bellaire and Marianna Ignazzi alongside the regular gang of idiots for more assassin madness.
6. Death Fight Forever #1

Release Date: February 18, 2026
Andrew MacLean trades lopping heads for death fighting forever with this new series based on classic ’80s video games — or at least, inspired. Just a note, unlike Head Lopper MacLean doesn’t draw this one; art is by Alexis Ziritt.
7. The Power Fantasy #16

Release Date: February 25, 2026
Spoilers for the previous issue of this banger of a series: it sure seems like the end of the world is coming, and the synopsis reads, “Okay, then. You win. Let’s do a fight.” Writer Kieron Gillen has also promised that readers will certainly wonder what’s next, if anything, after the end of this issue. So… Uh…
8. Universal Monsters: The Phantom of the Opera #1

Release Date: February 25, 2026
It sleep he calls to me, and knows you want to read this collabo between Tyler Boss and Martin Simmonds, the latest in the bang-up line from Skybound.
9. Wrestle Heist #3

Release Date: February 25, 2026
This series from Kyle Starks is just great. Not only is there the ridiculous heist of the title, but you’ve got copious back-matter with interviews about fave wrestlers, goofy ads, and much, much more.
