January is wrapping up in style with a slew of new comics this week for January 28, 2026. Want to know what’s coming out in stores? We got you, fam. But first, some highlights from the week to come.
DC has absolutely packed their release schedule with four Absolute Universe titles, including the second part of a crossover with Wonder Woman in Absolute Batman #16, and Zatanna making her move in Absolute Wonder Woman #16. Meanwhile, back in the main universe, DC K.O.: The Kids Are All Fight Special finds Jon Kent alone on the Justice League Watchtower with the kids of the DCU.
Marvel launches a new Iron Man #1 from the team of Joshua Williamson and Carmen Carnero, while Punisher: Red Band #5 wraps up Benjamin Percy’s run and reveals how Frank Castle got back from Weirdworld. And Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1 teams up Spidey and Rapid.
Image Comics brings on Jason Aaron and Mahmud Asrar’s Bug Wars: The Spyder Wytch Special #1 which comes complete with a polybagged, not-safe-for-work spider sex variant — seriously. Oni Press releases the excellently surreal Spirit of the Shadows #1. And G.I. Joe #18 is a standalone issue bringing Roadblock into the Energon Universe.
