Get ready to lop heads like it’s 2016 as Image Comics has announced that just in time for the 10th anniversary of Andrew MacLean’s Head Lopper, the series is returning with a new number one issue.
“Narschlahn is calling me back! It’s been a decade of Head Lopper, and yet, the world feels more alive with every stroke of the pen,” said MacLean via press release. “Huge thanks to Image Comics for their incredible support of this relaunch. This new chapter is the perfect entry point for new readers, while rewarding veterans with a story that picks up right after the original series’ finale.”
The new arc kicks off with an extra-length issue that will follow the continuing adventures of Norgal, aka the Head Lopper, lopping more heads off alongside the already lopped Agatha, the severed head of a witch.
Head Lopper #1 hits stores on April 22, with covers by MacLean, James Harren, Jim Rugg, Dylan Burnett, Jeffrey Alan Love, and Alex Horley. Check out two covers and some preview pages below!
