OREO has already launched cookies for Star Wars and Pokémon, and now it’s Marvel’s turn to make the House of Ideas into the House of… Odeas? I don’t know.
Anyway, in conjunction with artist Todd Nauck, the cookie company is showcasing 32 Marvel characters including the Avengers, Spider-Man, X-Men, and Fantastic Four. OREO, per PR provided to Comic Book Club, notes this is the first time “all four Marvel franchises unite with the OREO brand,” and that this is the “largest special-edition pack drop in OREO brand history.” Cool!
The Marvel Stuf of Legends Cookies will feature three packs on shelves… But there’s a secret fourth pack. Unfortunately, “Marvel villains are blocking its way. Fans are being tasked to help guide the delivery trucks to their destination. Beginning on February 2, fans can assemble to guide the fleet across the country by scanning the QR code on the MARVEL OREO Stuf of Legends Cookie Packs or visiting MarvelOREOStufOfLegends.com.”
If you’re curious what flavor the OREOS are, they’re, er, OREO flavored. But they do have a twist worthy of OREO: the cookies have “color changing creme,” which changes color when you like it. From what to what? You’ll just have to lick to find out.
