In sleep he calls to me, and tells me to buy connecting variant covers. More specifically, Anwita Citriya’s covers for Universal Monsters: Phantom of the Opera from Skybound and Image Comics.

Written by Tyler Boss with art by Martin Simmonds, the four connecting covers will span each issue of the limited series, depicting Christine, the Phantom, and the mysteries of the Paris Opera House.

“I grew up watching The Phantom of the Opera, so receiving this offer felt truly surreal,” said Citriya via press release. “It’s an incredible honor to illustrate the covers for such an iconic and much beloved 1925 film.”

In addition to the 1:10 covers by Citriya, Universal Monsters: Phantom of the Opera #1 also includes a main cover by Martin Simmonds, and variants by Joshua Middleton, Rosemary Valero-O’Connell, David Talaski, Baldemar Rivas, and Andrea Milana and Andres Juarez.
