If you love Wolverine and his female clone X-23 or her clone Gabby, get ready for even more clones in Generation X-23 from Marvel, which will introduce X-66, X-73, X-74, X-92, X-99, and X Infinity, which seems like a real escalation to me.
Written by Jody Houser with are by Jacopo Camagni, the new series hits stores on February 18. And in an interview over at Marvel.com, because I guess the publisher saw how Netflix did stuff with TUDUM and thought “why write press releases when we can have people go to our website, Houser expanded on this plot development more.
“I think the new characters can best be summed up by the classic movie quote, ‘Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should,'” Houser said. “Definitely excited for readers to meet the new faces, but not much I can say here without spoilers!”
If you check out the pages via Marvel, you can see a little bit more than in the teaser below, though they’re masked so who knows. At least the world will have more clones! You kids love clones, right? Right.
