Got questions about the Ghost Machine universe that burn hotter than Geiger? Then you’ll want to pick up Ghost Machine: The Official Guidebook, a new miniseries by the brass behind the publisher’s titles coming from Image Comics this April.

“I was always a huge fan of these entertaining encyclopedic comics,” said Brian Cunningham, Ghost Machine Editor-in-Chief, via press release. “Whenever I wanted to know something about a character, I knew where to go. I also loved learning about characters I had never seen before, and then wanting to track down those comics with them so I could read those stories. I’m hoping fans will do the same with our Guidebook.”

featuring text and art by Geoff Johns, Jason Fabok, Gary Frank, Bryan Hitch, Ivan Reis, Peter J. Tomasi, Brad Anderson, and more, the five issue series will include more than 120 characters, tease future storylines, and break down everything you need to know. Issues one and two will focus on The Unnamed Universe, which features Geiger, Redcoat, and Junkyard Joe. Issue #3 will turn to universe featuring The Rocketfellers and Hornsby & Halo, issue four is all about Rook: Exodus, and issue #5 heads to Hyde Street.

Each issue will feature a main cover by Gary Frank and Brad Anderson, with additional covers by Bryan Hitch and Brad Anderson aping The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, and Ivan Reis, Danny Miki, and Brad Anderson round out the covers with an homage of Who’s Who in the DC Universe.

Ghost Machine: The Official Guidebook #1 hits stores on April 1.
