Absolute Universe Artists Cover New Vertigo Books

DC Comics is hoping to transfer a little of that Absolute Universe heat over to its rebooted Vertigo line, as the publisher has announced the artists behind four of the AU books will provide variant covers for upcoming Vertigo launches.

Specifically, Absolute Martian Manhunter artist Javier Rodríguez will cover The Nice House by the Sea #7, Absolute Batman‘s Nick Dragotta is tasked with Bleeding Hearts #1, Rafa Sandoval of Absolute Superman is on End of Life #1, and Absolute Wonder Woman breakout Hayden Sherman provides a variant for The Peril of the Brutal Dark #1.

That’s pretty much the long and the short of the news, but you can check out the titles on the following dates:

February 4: The Nice House by the Sea #7
February 11: Bleeding Hearts #1
February 18: End of Life #1
February 25: The Peril of the Brutal Dark #1

The line will continue to expand throughout the year and beyond, so stay tuned to see if there are more cover-trade-em-ups (that’s the industry term). In the meanwhile, check out the covers below:
