On today’s episode, we’re taking a look at the highlights from Marvel’s March 2026 solicits, including Ultimate Universe, new X-Men books, and more.

This is Comic Book Club News for December 25, 2025.

Marvel March 2025 Solicit Highlights:

While One World Under Doom is done, the road to Armageddon, Marvel’s big summer event has begun. Wolverine: Weapons of Armageddon #2 and Captain America #8, both by writer Chip Zdarsky, keep the train trucking along. What’s the event about? No idea!

Zdarsky did have a lauded run on Daredevil, but no more! Instead, Stephanie Phillips and Lee Garbett take over for a new number one issue.

Over in X-Men land, a new series titled X-Men: United from Eve L. Ewing and Tiago Palma kicks off, with Emma Frost establishing a school of the mind. Moonstar #1 from Magik scribe Ashley Allen gives Dani Moonstar her own limited series. And in Storm: Earth’s Mightiest Mutant #2, Galacta makes her in-continuity debut.

What about Spider-Man? The Death Spiral crossover with Venom continues as Carnage reveals he knows Spider-Man’s secret identity in Amazing Spider-Man #23, while Venom #255 promises a shocking other secret is revealed.

The Ultimate Universe winds down this month with only four issues. Ultimate Wolverine #15, which finds Wolverine brainwashed again. Ultimates #22, which has Captain America facing down the Red Skull, aka Bucky, as well as Ultimates #23, which focuses on Thor and Sif. And Ultimate Endgame #4, which pits Spider-Man against the Maker.

Other highlights include a new Wonder Man miniseries from Gerry Duggan and Mark Buckingham. Also from Buckingham and writer Dan Slott is Fantastic Four: First Foes, the first of four, quarterly one-shots set in the world of the MCU movie. Paul Jenkins returns to Marvel after a 10 year absence for a new four-issue Sentry miniseries. Alias is back for a new Red Band series, from writer Sam Humphries and artist Geraldo Borges. And Imperial Guardians #1 from Dan Abnett is a new take on the Guardians of the Galaxy, this time working for Maximus the Mad.

For Comic Book Club News, I’m Alex Zalben. And maybe the road to Armageddon will lead to Bing Crosby and Bob Hope. How’s that for a dusty reference?
