Red-And-Blue Venom Returns In ‘Web Of Venom’ With A New, Secret Character In The Suit

Pretending to be Spider-Man is all the rage in Marvel Comics right now, and that won’t stop in 2026 as the Red and Blue Venom suit seen in Battleworld and the main Venom title will return in a new one-shot titled Web of Venom.

…But there’s a twist. While the suit was introduced in Battleworld worn by a version if Eddie Brock, and in Venom it was worn by Mary Jane, who is the current Venom, in Web of Venom #1 it’ll get adopted by an entirely different fan favorite character. And no, it does not seem to be Paul. Sadly.

“I had so much fun working with the symbiote office on the Eddie Parker alternate universe adventure for the historic Venom issue #252!” Morris said via press release. “I can’t wait to tell another story that combines the Venom goos with the reds and blues, this time in the 616! I don’t want to say too much about who is in the suit this time around, but it’s a deeper cut character I’ve always had a soft spot for (and I think many faithful Marvel readers do too). I can say it’s an epic comeback (wink) that fans won’t want to miss!”
