Are you ready for a Christmas Carol? Because the season finale for Apple TV’s hit Pluribus will drop a day early, on Wednesday, December 24, instead of Thursday, December 25. Which actually means you’ll find out what happens with Carol, Manousos, and the Others even earlier: Tuesday, December 23.
Confused? That’s because Apple TV has a whole GMT thing, and while they say the Pluribus season finale will debut on Wednesday, December 24, and that’s true in some territories, it will actually premiere on Tuesday, December 23 at 6pm PT / 9m ET. Meaning you can get the stressful finale out of the way before you lay down for the next week in depressed, abject horror.
To give you a tease, here’s the official synopsis and info, per Apple:
Episode 109 – La Chica o El Mundo – Premieres Wednesday, December 24
Season finale. Manousos arrives in Albuquerque and complications ensue. Carol visits the last best place on Earth.
So yeah, not only does it seem like Manousos (Carlos-Manuel Vesga) finally meets Carol after getting ripped to shreds by some very sharp trees back in Episode 7, but Carol (Rhea Seehorn) may be continuing her, shall we say, redefined relationship with The Joining, as well.
While Apple TV has broken tradition by not releasing a clip from the finale, they have started a new tradition with a pretty funny sub-one minute spot of some Others singing Christmas Carols (you get it) to an as-always grumpy Carol. The kicker is that we get a shot of someone drinking a HDP carton that’s been relabeled “Egg Nog.” Hilarious.
You can watch the promo below, and Merry Christmas… Carol.
