Unlike some crossovers we could mention, Spider-Man and Venom are engaging in a tight, focused, relatively minimal nine-part crossover next year titled Death Spiral, which will run through a one-shot, followed by issues of Amazing Spider-Man and Venom. And thanks to Marvel’s March 2026 solicits for the titles, it seems like they’re teasing… The death of Carnage? Again?
In the crossover, Spider-Man is back on Earth [Note: he is currently in space] and is facing down Carnage, who has discovered he’s secretly Peter Parker. Also of note, Carnage’s host is currently Eddie Brock, and that brings them into conflict with Venom, who is Mary Jane.
Enter into the mix a new villain/serial killer named Torment who connects all three of them in a, you guessed it, death spiral.
