It’s a bird… It’s a plane… It’s… A Creep? After a successful one-shot melding the iconic horror of Creepshow with the tropes of superhero stories, Skybound has announced Super Creepshow is spinning off into its own five-part series. And what is more superhero-y than spinoffs?

“We were so overwhelmed by the incredible reception to our SUPER CREEPSHOW SPECIAL that a mini-series was a no-brainer!” said Executive Editor Ben Abernathy via press release. “Adding superpowers to the horrific Creepshow formula proved to be a recipe that many creators couldn’t resist!”

And in fact, they’ve got a killer creator lineup for the first issue. In Super Creepshow #1, Kieron Gillen and Rossi Gifford tackle a story that “will have your spider sense tingling.” Meanwhile, Ryan North and Derek Charm alongside, letterer Pat Brosseau, craft a tale of horrible, horrible super speed.

In further issues, Gerry Duggan, Scott Buoncristiano, Marv Wolfman, Michele Rubini, James Harren, Brandon Thomas, Juann Cabal and more will swing into their own tales.

Super Creepshow #1 hits stores on March 18, 2026, with covers by Pye Parr, Carmine Di Diandomenico, Derek Charm, and a die cut mask cover by Andrea Milana and Jillian Crab. Check them out, as well as interior pages, below.
