DC Comics Dominates November 2025 Sales Chart:
DC Comics once again absolutely dominated the November 2025 sales chart — but this time, not just thanks to the Absolute Universe.
Per ICv2, DC took nine of the spots in the Top 10 for the month, ceding only the nine spot to Marvel’s Amazing Spider-Man #15. At the top of the charts was DC’s Batman / Deadpool #1, with Batman #3 at number two, and Absolute Batman #14 at number three. The DC K.O. event picked up steam with Knightfight — another Batman book — coming in at number four, and the second issue of the main title at number five.
In total, the publisher took 17 slots on the Top 50, with Marvel taking 26. For the House of Ideas, other than that issue of Spider-Man, the final issue of One World Under Doom charted at 12, and of the Ultimate Universe titles only Ultimate Wolverine #11 charted in the Top 20. Of note, no issue of Ultimate Spider-Man debuted during the month, which might have shaken things up a bit. And also of note, the X-Men event Age of Revelation seems to be DOA with only two of the 16 issues released charting in the Top 50.
That left room for six Image Comics titles: Transformers, two issues of G.I. Joe, Void Rivals, Exquisite Corpses, and Rob Liefeld’s new Youngblood #1 coming in at number 44. That left one slot for IDW, for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles X Godzilla #1.
Dynamite To Reprint Ursula Comic:
Dynamite is continuing to expand its Disney Villains line with a one-shot titled Disney Villains: Ursula, coming next year. However, any poor, unfortunate souls hoping for a brand-new story will be out of luck, as this particular comic came out five years ago, from Dark Horse.
As first reported by Bleeding Cool, Dark Horse released Disney Villains: Ursula and the Seven Seas by Sherri L. Smith and Gabriele Bagnoli back in 2020. This new version seems to be the exact same comic, albeit with new covers by Mirka Andolfo, Jae Lee, Robert Quinn, and more.
So if you picked it up back in 2020, are new covers enough of an incentive to sign on the dotted line and pick it up again? You can decide for yourself when the book hits stores on February 11, 2026.
Lunar Distribution Is Doing Real Well This Year:
Lunar’s Christina Merkler is feeling real positive about the comic book industry, after a banner year for the distributor. And not only are they doing well, so are comic book stores.
The news comes via the Off Panel podcast, and the whole interview is worth listening to, but via The Beat, they quote Merkler as saying comic book sales are “bonkers,” up double digits and in some cases up 1000% from the previous year. At least part of this likely has to do with the shift in business from Diamond, which went bankrupt, to Lunar. But still, it’s a positive sign for the industry when a lot of things are looking down.
Perhaps more importantly, Lunar signed up 462 new accounts this year – which again could be due to Diamond imploding, but it does mean that the reports of comics dying have been greatly exaggerated.
