FX Sets Premiere Date For Ryan Murphy’s ‘The Beauty’

FX has set a premiere date for The Beauty based on the Image Comics series of the same name — and released new key art for the live-action adaptation.

Executive Produced by Ryan Murphy and based on the book by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley, The Beauty will premiere the first three episodes on FX at 9pm ET/PT, and 9pm ET on Hulu and Disney+ internationally, on January 21, 2026. Following the premiere, a new episode will premiere each Wednesday, also at the aforementioned times, with two episodes each in the final two weeks.

Or, more simply, new episodes premiere at 9pm on FX, Hulu, and Disney+ (internationally) on the following dates:

Wednesday, January 21: Episodes 1, 2, 3
Wednesday, January 28: Episode 4
Wednesday, February 4: Episode 5
Wednesday, February 11: Episode 6
Wednesday, February 18: Episode 7
Wednesday, February 25: Episode 8, Episode 9
Wednesday, March 4: Episode 10, Episode 11

In FX’s The Beauty, the world of high fashion turns dark when international supermodels begin dying in gruesome and mysterious ways. FBI Agents “Cooper Madsen” (Evan Peters) and “Jordan Bennett” (Rebecca Hall) are sent to Paris to uncover the truth. As they delve deeper into the case, they uncover a sexually transmitted virus that transforms ordinary people into visions of physical perfection, but with terrifying consequences. Their path leads them directly into the crosshairs of “The Corporation” (Ashton Kutcher), a shadowy tech billionaire who has secretly engineered a miracle drug dubbed “The Beauty,” who will do anything to protect his trillion-dollar empire—including unleashing his lethal enforcer, “The Assassin” (Anthony Ramos). As the epidemic spreads, “Jeremy” (Jeremy Pope), a desperate outsider, is caught in the chaos, searching for purpose as the agents race across Paris, Venice, Rome, and New York to stop a threat that could alter the future of humanity. The Beauty is a global thriller that asks: what would you sacrifice for perfection?

The show is written by Murphy and Matthew Hodgson, EPed by Murphy, Hodgson, Peters, Ramos, Pope, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, Nissa Diederich, Michael Uppendahl, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Gitter, Peter Schwerin and Jeremy Haun. Hurley serves as a consultant.
