Mike Mignola And Rachele Aragno’s Leonid The Vampyr Returns:
Leonide the Vampyr is back. The young vampire created by Mike Mignola and Rachele Aragno will return in a new, two-part series titled Leonide the Vampyr: The House of Yonda, flying (like a bat) into stores next year.
Here’s the official synopsis, per PR from Dark Horse: “Leonide the Vampyr: The House of Yonda begins after Leonide is chased off by her latest intended victims. An unwitting good samaritan finds her unresponsive and whisks her away by wagon to a doctor, but when the wagon arrives, the drivers are mummified and the girl is missing, with only a seed left in her place.This two-part story will follow a search for the missing girl’s ancestral home and expose her horrifying family history.”
Leonide the Vampyr: The House of Yonda #1 hits stores on March 18, 2026.
Phillip Kennedy Johnson Goes Marvel Exclusive:
Phillip Kennedy Johnson is the latest writer to sign an exclusive with Marvel. The new multi-year contract is effective as January, 2026.
Said Johnson via press release, “My friends at Marvel have been ideal collaborators, and I’m extremely honored and excited that they’ve asked me to play such a bigger role in the company. Now that our Incredible Hulk run is kicking off its second act with Infernal Hulk #1, and with the other mind-blowing projects we’re putting together for 2026 and 2027, it felt like the time to make Marvel my comics home for a while.”
The announcement comes hot on the heels of Johnson’s run on Hulk evolving into The Infernal Hulk, which hits stores this week. And it also comes as he wraps up his run on Batman and Robin for DC Comics, which will be ending in February of 2026 with Batman & Robin #30. As for what will happen with his run on DC’s Adventures of Superman: The Book of El, which releases a sixth issue in February and is part of a longer planned run wrapping up his time on the main Superman title? Don’t worry, that will finish, too.
This marks the second recent high-profile exclusive deal for Marvel, after the House of Ideas signed up writer Chris Condon earlier this month.
Archie Takes On Army Of Darkness:
Hail to the king, baby! By which we mean Jughead and his crown, because Archie x Army of Darkness is coming this February. And now we know the creative team behind the Archie Comics and Dynamite crossover: writer Erik Burnham, and artist Bill Galvan.
In the series, Archie stumbles upon a copy of the Necronomicon, and summons the Deadites to Riverdale. Enter Ashley J. Williams, who has to fight back the undead hordes and try to save the Town With Pep. Only he also discovers that maybe Riverdale is the place that will finally break the curse that’s been on him all these years.
Archie x Army of Darkness #1 hits stores on February 4, 2026. And yes, of course there’s a Blind Bag for this one.

Can you imagine if that would be a groovy idea to a new Army of Darkness vs Pirates of the Caribbean comic Ashley J. Williams known as Ash who gone in another time travel when he was pulled by a time portal where ever he landed when he fell down from the sky he meets a good desperate pirate sailor Captain Jack Sparrow with his good best friend mate Joshamee Gibbs and the crew Marty, Cotton, Pintal, Ragetti, Mullroy, Murtogg, & Scrum including the Monkey Jack and Cotton Parrot introduces to Ash from the future he joins them on the Black Pearl and suddenly when Jack gets freaked out they saw the return of a flashback Will Turner who was free from the Flying Dutchman and still no heart inside of him but still in the chest with his son Henry, Carina, and Elizabeth who left Jack to die to the Kraken she still believes he forgives her but he doesn’t when she expects not to think about him and remember him and Henry heard about this when he didn’t know they really knew each other in the past neither does Carina and Scrum but Will, Gibbs and the rest of the crew already know in the past and Henry doesn’t know why his mother never told him about Jack since he never told her about his secret and why she left Jack to die to the Kraken when she betrayed him in the past Elizabeth couldn’t explain it to her son when she still doesn’t speak but his father told Henry about this the same thing that Elizabeth never told Will when she explains it to him he thought Elizabeth loved Jack when he saw her kissing him with his own eyes before she tricked Jack they also introduces Ash Williams who came from future Ash says first you wanna kiss Jack now you wanna kill him…blow Will and Elizabeth also wanted to know what happen to Barbossa but what does it matter to them when they were both absent same as the crew except Jack & Gibbs when the crew who were with Barbossa he stole Jack’s again he was attacked by the Blackbeard who used his magic sword to shrunk his pearl without the crew Barbossa survived when he cuts off his leg and became one of the Privateer he lied to Jack about losing the pearl it was shrunk into the bottle after Blackbeard was dead Barbossa released it out of the bottle and suddenly they were attacked by Jack’s old enemy from the past name Salazar the Captain of Alient Mary with the help of Carina and Herny who needs to break the curse down under the secret water to released his father Will and the rest of the crew with Salazar is aftering them Barbossa saved them he sacrificed his life for Carina who is the daughter of Barbossa under the water closing together it was the last they see Barbossa alive once again Jack, Gibbs, and the crew took Henry home with Carina to meet her but when Will returns to Elizabeth they were asleep he thought it was a dream but suddenly there was a water with shells on the floor when he woke up he sees everything wet on the floor and then the chest with his heart was gone he must have found out some one is back Davy Jones it’s him again but it’s impossible he’s dead while stabbing his heart and that’s why Will, Henry, Carina, and Elizabeth shows up they all rejoin together but no more trick business because Jack has enough and even Ash is sick of tired of evil trick business and Jack is not allowed to speak to Elizabeth since she can’t talk she should stay out of his way and Henry really doesn’t believe hoe could his parents do this to Jack and Ash warns them to stop playing games on him and he told Elizabeth she better get used to make up her own mind since she can’t speak she changes the subject without using her head. In the Darkness they Battle against the Deadites with the return of Davy Jones, Blackbeard, Salazar, Sao Feng, Lord Beckett, James Norrington, Tia Dalma, John Scarfield, with Angelica Teach who set Jack up around the world against him and the return of Barbossa the Deadite but unfortunitlty it wasn’t really him with it was a deadite creation what ever he wears a pirate clothes or a privateer clothes with a wooden leg also meets the return of Ash’s evil twin clone Evil Ash/Deadite Ash I…live…AGAIN (from Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn, Evil Dead 3: Army of Darkness, And Ash Vs Evil Dead season 1) who was grown by the Evil Hand (from Evil Dead 2 & Ash vs Evil Dead season 1-2) who followed Ash he now has chainsaw on his right hand and a boomstick like his good twin and also Jack’s reflection got shattered in the mirror or the water by the Necronomicon known as Evil Jack/Deadite Jack an other and new deadite twin clone of his. Both Evil Ash & Evil Jack leads the Evil Dead Sailor Army of Darkness to challenges the whole world and to destroy the goods Ash, Jack, Gibbs, and the rest of the crew with Will, Henry, Carina, and Elizabeth getting ready for an ultimate battle and all the good sailors must need help to kill all deadite zombies, sea creatures, and deadite skeletons with the work of the Necronomicon who leads by Ash’s And Jack’s evil twin clones Ash uses a spellbook saying the magic words to make him grow taller and stronger (from A Fistful of Boomstick) same as Ash’s evil twin only jumps grows taller and stronger by the yellow lightening (from Regeneration) then started to fight each other Jack only fights his own evil deadite twin too while the rest of the others fights the evils Gibbs fights the Blackbeard, Henry fights Salazar, Will once again fights Davy Jones and took the chest with a heart of his and Elizabeth fights Angelica Teach the former love of Jack’s Elizabeth didn’t know about her but she was surprised that Angelica set Jack up she sees a voodoo doll of Jack trying to take it away from her to save Jack’s life and Carina challenges Tia Dalma the Calypso suddenly Carina’s father appeared as a ghost who finally saves her life once again from a deadite of himself who almost killed her and explains that he screwed himself up when truth is over rated to him when he lies against Jack and stealing the Black Pearl with his selfishness. In the end Ash & Jack defeated their own evil deadite twin clones and the rest of all evils of the Necronomicon the book of the dead is destroyed and history they all won the battle and save the day. Cotton feels his tongue has grown inside his mouth he can talk again and Ragetti got his left eye back everyone apologies Jack for being a true good man is Will who now has his heart back and Elizabeth who can speak again she says to Jack it will still never work between us he says to her keep telling yourself darling she is now being forgiven by Jack and they both kissed each other once again while Henry thought his mother never speaks and still against Jack but she now apologies Jack Sparrow when she finally spoke to him and loved him for being good ever since he rescued her for being drown under the water in the past since Henry help Jack once when he knows that he was in danger believes that Jack is kind of like a father to him better than his real father Will Turner and as for Ash Williams who also help Jack kind a like a great ancestor of Jack Sparrow’s and now when the time comes Ash must need help to find a way back home saying goodbye to all and Jack thanked Ash for helping him with all the crew even Henry, Carina, Will, & Elizabeth same as Jack kissed by her Ash wishes to save some sugar for her. Ash says to Jack Ash: Jackie keep yourself groovy. Ash has gone back into his own time. Jack’s father Edward Teague Sparrow shows up met by Henry, Carina, and Will and some crew but Gibbs, Cotton, Marty, Pintal, Ragetti, & Elizabeth haven’t met him since they were in pirates court in part 3 even Jack’s Uncle shows up who was free from jail prison they all reunion together and as for Ash he drives his delta car with his airstream somewhere for another adventure in his own time. THE END. Isn’t that exiting a groovy interesting idea?
Army of Darkness movie 1992 took place in 1984 and the storyline comics took place too after Evil Dead 2 in 1987 took place in 1982. How ever feature some special guests like Darkman in 2007 took place in 1997 and Xena comic in 2008-2017 took place in 1998-2007. with Freddy vs Jason 2007-2009 took place in 2004-2007. with Red Sonja in 2025 that took place in 2005 with KISS took place in 1998 Danger Girl in 2011-2012 took place in 2001-2002 with Hack/Slash in 2013-2014 that took place in 2003-2004 with Vampirella in 2015 took place in 2005 with Re-animator in 2005-2022 that took place in 1995-2002 with Bubba Ho-Tep in 2019 that took place in 2009. In real life Ash saves Obama was truly in 2009 but Ash’s age was suppose to be 52 and also Marvel Zombies in 2007 that took place in 1997. before Ash vs evil Dead 2015-2018 took place in 2011-2014 the remake was made in 2013 before Evil Dead Rises in 2023 and Evil Dead burn 2026. Next year Archie X Army of Darkness is coming on February 4th that took place in 2006.
