It’s time to get stuffed for Thanksgiving as Dynamite is offering not one, but two comics in their Blind Bags for DIE!NAMITE: Blood Red #1 — which is in stores this week.
As previously announced, the new issue by Fred Van Lente and artist Marco Finnegan is coming in a Blind Bag that features homage covers including Jaws, Weapons, and Army of Darkness, as well as the possibly of limited-edition variants. But now as a surprise to celebrate Dynamites first Blind Bag, per PR from the publisher, “each and every bag now includes an additional colored blank variant.” So yeah, that’s two comics, one bag.
If you’re curious about the book itself, a man-killing virus has ravaged the Earth, and it’s up to Vampirella, Red Sonja, Dejah Thoris, Miss Fury, Purgatori, and more to save the day — or at least, try to survive the zombie plague.
Alongside Finnegan, contributing artists to the covers include EJ Su, David Cousens, Will Robson, and Godtail. You can pick up the double-stuffed bags in stores on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
