This is Comic Book Club News for November 25, 2025.

DC Comics February 2026 Solicit Highlights:

Vertigo is back, baby! The storied imprint finally returns in February at DC Comics, with a new title dropping every week. First up is The Nice House by the Sea #7, the continuation of James Tynion IV and Álvaro Martínez Bueno’s dark horror saga. The next week is Bleeding Hearts #1 from Deniz Camp and Stipan Morian, a new take on the zombie tale. End of Life #1 hits in week three by Kyle Starks and Steve Pugh, about a hitman heading home. And rounding out the month is The Peril of the Brutal Dark: An Ezra Cain Mystery #1 by Chris Condon and Jacob Phillips, which mixes noir detective stories with Indiana Jones.

DC K.O. #4 continues with the final four in February, and Darkseid’s corrupted Absolute Universe trinity entering the ring. Also on sale is DC K.O. Boss Battle #1, which brings on contenders ranging from Homelander and Annabelle from The Conjuring, to Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat. Oh, and there are at least five other event tie-in issues over the course of the month.

Moving to the Absolute Universe, in Absolute Batman #17, Poison Ivy escapes from Ark-M. Absolute Wonder Woman #17 finds Diana facing down a Wonder Woman revenge squad. The Absolute Wonder Woman Annual 2026 flashes back to the fallout from Wonder Woman’s time as Medusa, earlier in the series. And Absolute Superman #16 brings on Absolute Hawkman.

Back in the main DCU, Nightwing #135 promises a twist that changes Blüdhaven forever. Batman and Robin #30 ends Phillip Kennedy Johnson’s run on the title. Superman Unlimited #10 teases a dark take on the Parankster that will move him to A-list villain. And New History of the DC Universe: The Dakota Incident somehow spins out of the encyclopedic main title to depict a battle in Dakota City.

It’s February, and you know what that means: smoochin’. Superman: Chains of Love Special lights up a romance between Livewire and The Creeper. Sirens: Love Hurts #1 is a Black Label series from Tini Howard and Babs Tarr that finds Black Canary getting engaged, as Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn dealing with their own romantic entanglements. And it sure seems like Hal Jordan asks Carol Ferris to marry him in Green Lantern #32, leading into March’s 600th issue spectacular.

For Comic Book Club News, I’m Alex Zalben. And hey, any month is good for smoochin’, just to clarify.
