‘Death Fight Forever’ Is The Gonzo Miniseries You’ve Been Fighting For

Andrew MacLean, creator of the wildly over-the-top Head Lopper, is back in action for Death Fight Forever. And he’s brought a few fighting partners along with him.

“Death Fight Forever was born from a love of ’90s beat ‘em up video games and a desire to write a comic that highlights some of the coolest art styles of our time,” said MacLean via press release.

Alongside MacLean is artist Alexis Ziritt, and the first issue will feature covers by MacLean, Ziritt, and Dylan Burnett. In the Image Comics book, “super-thief bruiser brothers, Crash and Bash Biggle, jump into action to help Commander Thunderfang fight inter-dimensional crime boss, Lord Slyther. But a run-in with Marla Mendoza, leader of the COPZ gang and Slyther’s most formidable loyalist, changes the course of Bash’s life forever.”

I’ll be honest, I think that synopsis is underselling it a bit, as the provided preview pages look wild. you can check them out below, as well as the covers, and Death Fight Forever #1 hits stores on February 18, 2026.
