BREAKING: People Love Batman, Issues #1 And #2 Head Back To Print

Some breaking news today just in advance of the close of election polls on the East Coast: the people have voted, and they love Batman. Specifically, DC Comics has announced that Batman #1 is getting a third printing, while Batman #2 will get a second printing. Batman #3 will get a first printing, but you probably already knew that.

Per the publisher, the new series by Matt Fraction and Jorge Jiménez is selling out faster than The Penguin once Batman beats him up a little bit. The Batman #1 third printing will include a new cardstock variant cover by Nick Dragotta aping the cover of Absolute Batman #1, and there’s an updated trade dress on Jorge Jiménez’s main cover as well. That third printing will arrive on December 3.

Meanwhile, Batman #2’s second printing will hit on November 19, and Batman #3 hits stores tomorrow. In the latter, the Riddler makes his move on Batman and Robin, as does Vandal Savage. Further, DC teases that a new villain, the Minotaur, debuts in Batman #4 in December, and Lady Death Man arrives in Batman #5 in January.
