We’ve already broken down the Top Marvel Comics for November 2025, Top DC Comics for November 2025, and Best Image Comics for November 2025. So why not keep this party going? Specifically with picks for the month from other publishers, including Dark Horse Comics, Dynamite, Oni Press, BOOM! Studios, and IDW Publishing?
Is it fair to lump them all together? I don’t know, you tell me. Seriously: tell me. While I’ve sporadically done monthly picks lists for Marvel, DC, and Image, it’s bummed me out that I didn’t have picks from any of the other publishers I read on a regular basis. Part of that is not wanting to do 13 lists, another is the hesitation to lump ’em all into one post like I’m doing here.
But I like comics, and I like highlighting titles I am interested in that I think you, the reader, will be too. So let me know! Would you like to see separate lists for each publisher? Should there just be one list total of top ten titles for the month? Something else? I am at your mercy!
In the meantime, here is a heavily reduced list of titles from those publishers mentioned for November, 2025, because I had to stop somewhere… Presented in chronological release order.
1. Space Scouts #1

Release Date: November 5, 2025
A new series from Matt Kindt is always a must-read, and this Dark Horse book is no exception. It sounds sort of like Battle Royale in space, which if true: sold.
2. Crownsville #1

Release Date: November 5, 2025
Rodney Barnes is well known for his fascination on the intersection of true crime and the supernatural, which comes to bear in this new Oni Press series. Focusing on the real Crownsville Hospital, the five-issue series investigates a mental hospital plagued by years of abuse — and the ghosts that still haunt its halls.
3. Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees: Rite of Spring #4

Release Date: November 12, 2025
One of the biggest hits of the past few years continues at IDW, as our serial killer bear continues to push Monica (the duck) in increasingly uncomfortable directions. Stunning art and pulse-pounding writing make this a must-read, every month.
4. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Godzilla #1

Release Date: November 12, 2025
Thankfully more of an idea behind this than “hey they’re both green,” writer Tim Seeley and artist Fero Pe have come up with a great, organic way of jamming the two properties together. Along with some great art from Pe that really shows the differences in scale, you can listen to an interview we did with the team back at New York Comic Con.
5. High Strangeness #2

Release Date: November 12, 2025
This premium edition anthology brings on writer Zac Thompson and artist Noah Bailey for a second issue focuses on a crashed prison-transfer bus that may encounter a Sasquatch. There’s a lot of “true weird” books on the stands these days, but what makes this Oni Press series stands out is that it looks damn good.
6. Marian Heretic #2

Release Date: November 19, 2025
The BOOM! Studios nunsplotation series from Tini Howard and Jose Jaro had a banger of a first issue, delivering all the thrills and chills you might want with a whole lot of nuanced commentary on the role of the church. Here’s hoping that continues in issue #2.
7. Star Trek: The Last Starship #2

Release Date: November 19, 2025
We’ve already waxed poetic at length about the great first three issues of this series. Suffice to say if you’re looking for bold character, big action, and some huge swings, this is the Star Trek book for you.
8. The Lion King #1

Release Date: November 19, 2025
We’d be lyin’ if we said we weren’t excited to check out this book from Dynamite. Sorry! Not actually sorry, though.
9. Minor Threats: The Last Devil Left Alive #2

Release Date: November 19, 2025
The star of Dark Horse’s fantastic B-list supervillain universe, Playtime, enters her endgame with this series dealing with multiversal gentrification. Also of note, a new issue of Minor Threats vs. Archie Comics hits this month, which is also well worth your time.
10. Yuletide #2

Release Date: November 19, 2025
A lot of books claim to hit that ’80s Amblin vibe, but very rarely do they nail it. Yuletide, which finds a group of kids accidentally releasing an evil Winter Witch that attacks their town, does — and manages to feel fresh at the same time.
11. Mary Sue #2

Release Date: November 19, 2025
The delightful first issue of this series introduced fanfic writer Cassie, and ended with a twist: the MarySue she created, Jessica, is now in the real world. Issue #2 picks up off that cliffhanger, and here’s hoping the fic-slinging shenanigans continue.
12. BRZRKR: The Bleeding Tide #1

Release Date: November 26, 2025
Every one of BOOM!’s one-shots focusing on the Keanu Reeves character have been great, channeling the writer-artist team to give their own spin on the immortal killer B. This time around? Marjorie Liu and Garry Brown with a pirate tale.
13. Devil On My Shoulder #1

Release Date: November 26, 2025
Kyle Starks and Piotr Kowalski have become one of the best teams in horror, and this title doesn’t seem like it’ll buck the trend, thanks to a story of a woman tortured for forty days, looking to get supernatural revenge on the five men who wronged her.
