DC has been firing on all cylinders lately, and that doesn’t seem likely to stop in November of 2025. In fact, there’s so much good stuff from the publisher, it was hard to limit it to 11 picks for the must pick-up titles this month.
Still, we are models of restraint here, and did limit things to some Absolute Universe picks, some DC K.O. picks, a few Black Label titles, and more. Okay, maybe not that much restraint. Also there’s the Batman / Deadpool issue, so that’s something.
You can read our picks for the best of the month below, presented in chronological release order. Looking for a list of Top Marvel Comics for November 2025, Best Image Comics for November 2025, and our picks from other publishers? We got that, too.
1. DC K.O.: Knightfight #1

Release Date: November 5, 2025
Joshua Williamson and Dan Mora is a great team to throw on a spinoff, but this one, which finds Batman thrust into his own DC K.O. fight against a series of Robins who have leveled up and become a better Batman than he will ever be seems like a shockingly emotional thrill-ride. Side books are often take ’em or leave ’em, but the care here (based on a recent preview) makes this look like a stellar series in its own right.
2. JSA #13

Release Date: November 5, 2025
A new arc begins this issue in JSA, taking it all the way back to “Year One.” That’s exciting on its own, but pairing writer Jeff Lemire with artist Gavin Guidry is good stuff.
3. Harley & Ivy: Life & Crimes #1

Release Date: November 5, 2025
I’ll be honest: this is probably my personal most anticipated issue of the month. Written and drawn by Erica Henderson, this will tell the definitive origin story of Harley and Ivy’s love affair, which has shockingly never been told before. Cannot wait.
4. Batman: Dark Patterns #12

Release Date: November 12, 2025
Dan Watters and Hayden Sherman have been delivering a definitive Batman story for a year now, and it comes to a close here. Maybe the best “detective” Batman book we’ve gotten in a long time, if they stick the landing (and they probably will) this will be talked about for years to come.
5. Superman: The Kryptonite Spectrum #4

Release Date: November 12, 2025
The team from Image’s Ice Cream Man has been doing exactly what you’d want on this title: bringing a bizarre Superman tale to life while often breaking the expectations of what the comic book form can and should be. And this issue seems to be no different, likely adding several dimensions thanks to some fifth-dimensional imps.
6. Batman / Static: Beyond #1

Release Date: November 12, 2025
A mash-up so obvious it’s shocking (no pun intended) that it hasn’t been done before, writer Evan Narcisse and artist Nikolas Draper-Ivey team up an older version of Static with Batman Beyond.
7. DC / Marvel: Batman / Deadpool #1

Release Date: November 19, 2025
While Marvel’s DC crossover was a bit of a letdown (Jeff the Land Shark and Krypto team-up aside), DC’s version seems like it will be swinging for the fences. Grant Morrison and Dan Mora are on the lead story, with Morrison seemingly providing a meta-text breaking down the very idea of cross-company crossovers. And the back-ups seem pretty epic, too: Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo on Nightwing and Laura Kinney Wolverine; G. Willow Wilson and Denys Cowan on Static and Ms. Marvel; Mariko Tamaki and Amanda Conner on Harley Quinn and the Hulk; and Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV, and Joshua Williamson with Hayden Sherman on Constantine and Doctor Strange. Inject it into my veins!
8. Absolute Batman #14

Release Date: November 26, 2025
The conclusion of the barn burning Bane arc, Batman, Killer Croc and Catwoman take on the massive villain for the fate of Gotham City.
9. Absolute Wonder Woman #14

Release Date: November 26, 2025
Nothing against the rest of the titles, but the best Absolute Universe series continues with the second part of a two-part arc featuring guest artist Matías Bergara, with Diana fighting herself (sort of) and bringing in Absolute Zatanna to mess things up.
10. DC K.O. #2

Release Date: November 26, 2025
The brawl to end them all continues in DC K.O. #2, as the tournament gets started for real. In this issue, 32 contenders get whittled down to 16. Who lives? Who dies? Who tells their story? You’ll have to read to find out (or look ahead in solicits).
11. Batman / Green Arrow / The Question: Arcadia #1

Release Date: November 26, 2025
Gabriel Hardman brings on a Black Label pseudo-sequel to the classic vigilante team-up. It looks great, and the idea of a dark mystery involving the trio looks great, as well. This is exactly what the Black Label line was made for!
